Plane measures approx. 20" long has a nice eagle Stanley Rule & Level Co New Britain Conn 28 touchmark also previous owners name on toe sole has scratches, dings and some use on toe no major cracks. Handle has been repaired at one time and could use replacing has a mushroom front knob no ring on bottom. Lever cap has liberty bell emblem casting. Blade has Stanley Rule & level co patented april 18 1876 logo and measures approx. 7 3/4" long. frog is good. the wood on this plane is really good considering its age. |
