TWO NINETEENTH CENTURY SPOKE SHAVES, one bearing the mark of one Sam Wilt, who reportedly produced guns in Dayton, Ohio in the Nineteenth Century. Each of the tools is marked with an inscribed insect one that appears to be a bee and the other a spider. The bee marked is appox. 3 7/8 inches overall with a cutting blade of appox 7/8 inches with a flat bottom. the spider marked is appox 3 1/4 overall with a cutting blade of appox.7/8 inches.with a curved bottom and blade.A most interesting and unusual set.
