Plane has Marten Doscher New York with initials of BF on the toe also initial of BF on heal there is some checking on the end bead is good blade holder measures approx. 6 3/8" long the blade has no makers mark just xxxvIII and measures approx. 6 11/16" long and cutting edge is approx. 5/8" wide plane measures approx. 9 1/2" long and sole is approx. 1 5/16" wide.
