Plane measures approx. 15" long has a smooth sole. Japan has been repainted at one time sides have some sandlike pitting. Has Bailey stamped on toe and 5 1/2 on heal with pat'd Mar-25-02 Aug 19-02 APR 19-10 also stamped on bed. Front knob is a low profile with a hairline crack running all the way down one side. Handle hasno cracks with an in indentation of the lateral on top. Lever cap has a small chip on corner and no markings on underside. Blade has Stanley Sweetheart made in USA trademark lit some pitting and measures approx. 7 3/8"x2 1/4". Frog has 5 1/2 stamped on underside. Lateral has Stanley towards the topand has a small brass adjustment wheel |
