Plane measures approx. 11 1/2" long and has a smooth sole with Bailey on toe US Pat APR 19-10 behind frog and no. 5 1/4 on heal. Japan is worn on edges and has 16 1 16 with XXIII on side rail previous owners markings. Plane has an aluminum handle with stanley on one side and made in USA with an S cast on side. Lever cap has Stanley on top no chips. Blade has Stanley made in USA rectangular logo and measures approx. 7 1/4" long. Frog has 465 stamped on underside and lateral has a little play with Stanley stamped on top. Has a small brass adjustment wheel. |
