antique hatchet measures approx. 6 1/4 inch from cutting edge to poll, cutting edge is 3 1/8 inch. tool markings on one side of cheek are capewell made in usa, marking also has a horseshoe design. the other side is marked chrome vanadium steel. tool has some rust. original handle is loose. tool has a nail pulling notch. |
