What is my antique tool worth?

I always have tons of emails asking "What is my tool worth"?

Please note that I am not an appraiser, but I always tell them a tool is worth as much as a collector is willing to pay for it. It all depends on condition and how rare the tool is.

Another place online you can check for antiques is www.kovels.com they don’t have much on tools but lots of other antiques.
